In Ikaria’s embrace, a place so grand,
Lives Stavros Sphairos, a wise little man.
With goats to be herded, and friends all around,
His island adventures make his joy unbound.

In the morning sun, he starts his day’s quest,
With a shepherd’s crook, and a heart at its best.
He gathers the goats, they follow his lead,
Through meadows and pastures, they roam and they feed.

But Stavros is special, he’s more than a lad,
He talks to martens and makes the otters glad.
With jumping spiders, he shares quite a tale,
And green toads, they all love him, without fail.

In the walled orchard’s nook and the garden so sweet,
He tends to the plants, from lettuce to beet.
Fruits and veggies, they thrive and they grow,
Under Stavros’s care, they all seem to glow.

With a heart full of wisdom and a spirit so free,
He imparts little gems of greek philosophy.
To his animal pals, he shares his insight,
As they gather ’round, in the day’s golden light.

So kids, take a page from Stavros the sage,
In nature’s embrace, let your wisdom engage.
Make friends with the critters, the plants, and the frogs,
And spread a little joy, just like little Stavros.

He lives on an special island, so ancient and wise,
Where time moves a bit slower, under blue skies.
With lessons from nature, the heart’s deepest well,
Stavros Sphairos, oh, what tales he could tell.

His days full of wonder, his nights full of stars,
He’d sit by the fire, telling tales from afar.
Of Ikaria’s magic, and the lessons he’d share,
With a twinkle in his eye, and his wild, tousled hair.

In the tale of Stavros, with wisdom so grand,
Find your own treasures in this wide, wondrous land.
In nature’s sweet rhythm and the stories untold,
Discover the sage, in your heart, let it unfold.

As the sun sets on the island’s tranquil shore,
And the stars above in the heavens once more,
We bid farewell to Stavros, young and so sage,
On the island of Ikaria, he’ll remain on this stage.

With the lessons he taught, and the friends he did greet,
From animals to veggies, in the sun’s golden heat,
We’ll remember his joy and his wisdom so dear,
And carry his sage spirit, year after year.

So kids, as you dream and as you play,
In the spirit of Stavros, remember the way,
To find wonder in nature, in each tale that you spin,
And keep the enchantment of life’s joy from within.
