In the solar system, way out in space,
Planets and stars all find their place.
Eight major players, in a cosmic spree,
So let’s explore our galaxy!
Mercury’s first, closest to the Sun,
A speedy planet, always on the run.
Venus shines bright, like a brilliant star,
With clouds so thick, it’s hard to see far.
Earth is our home, a lovely blue sphere,
With oceans and land, a world to hold dear.
Mars, the Red Planet, with canyons and dust,
Perhaps one day, it’s where we’ll adjust.
Jupiter’s giant, a massive gas ball,
With swirling storms and a great, red squall.
Saturn’s renowned for its icy ring,
A cosmic jewel, a captivating thing.
Uranus and Neptune, ice giants so cold,
With rings and moons, their fashion is bold.
In the outer solar system, they twirl and they play,
In the vastness of space, so far away.
The sun in the middle, a blazing star,
A fiery ball, from near to far.
It keeps us warm and gives us light,
A dazzling wonder, a shining sight.
Now our tour’s done, our journey complete,
The solar system’s vast, and oh, what a treat!
But remember, my friend, there’s more out there,
In the cosmos so grand, with wonders to spare.
