In the Bronx, there’s a ginger cat named Vivaldi, so upbeat,
Who loved to listen to Mozart’s tunes, a wonderful musical treat!
He’d sit on the tall building’s fire escape, so happy and spry,
Listening to 78rpm records, city lights twinkling in his eye.

A friendly stray cat, he was, with a loving heart full of gold,
Watching over the block’s kids, both the young and the old.
Patrolling the neighborhood streets, past colorful bodegas he’d go,
Saying hello to familiar friends, putting on quite a splendid show.

On the steps of brownstones, he’d make quite a scene,
Greeting everyone he met, with a happy purr so serene.
But his very favorite spot, as the day turned to dusk,
Was the fire escape outside Elijah’s, where music’s a must.

Late afternoons, with whiskers waving in the breeze,
He’d savor each note, delivered with such musical ease.
Then off he would trot, in the fading golden sunlight,
To walk the kids home from school, making sure all was right.

Dinner at the best corner shop, a meal rather divine,
With a meow and a purr, under the bright neon sign.
Back to his own rooftop, the lowest one there,
A cozy shelter, fresh food, and clean water to spare.

Vivaldi, the honorable stray cat, in the Bronx he’d forever remain,
In the hearts of his beloved neighborhood people, he’d always reign.
A feline guardian so furry, a friend to everybody no matter their life’s lot,
He welcomed being the Bronx’s most famous cat on each and every block!
